Tahini Style Alpiste Paste
In a saute pan over medium heat, lightly toast alpiste seeds until fragrant.
Transfer to a tray to cool completely.
In the work bowl of a food processor, grind the toasted seeds until the mixture resembles light sand.
With the blade spinning, slowly drizzle in the grapeseed oil until a smooth, pourable paste forms.
1 cup (250 mL) alpiste seed
1/4 cup (50 mL) grapeseed oil or similarly neutral flavoured oil
